Volunteer Drivers

Our drivers are volunteers from 19 communities. They have gone through a rigorous "credentialing" process that is federally approved.

Our drivers use their own personal vehicles and are reimbursed for the mileage that they accumulate from transporting clients. We ask that all passengers are courteous and respectful to the drivers and their vehicles. Our volunteers come to us with a variety of vehicle sizes from small cars to large trucks. Please let us know if you have limitations so we can send an appropriate vehicle for your needs.

Additional Support...

Transport Central is committed to providing equal access and opportunity to qualified individuals with disabilities in all programs, services and activities.

If you need any special accommodation, please let us know when you call to request transportation.

Our drivers are here to offer you a helping hand from door to door. Please note that our drivers cannot enter your house or the medical facility because of insurance restrictions.

You may bring a support person on the trip to assist you. Please let us know they are coming at the time of request.
